WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

Writer: John McIntoshJohn McIntosh

JOHN MCINTOSH

The mind [the false self most call ‘me’] has a long list of wants, needs, desires and have-to’s it believes are essential for it to survive and be happy. It also has a litany of ways and means required to achieve these things and where it feels ‘lacking’ in any of these prerequisites for so-called success, it will delay gratification [in most cases] until it has acquired these ‘tools’ [such as more education or experience] or in some cases attempts to circumvent them [through such means as crime]. These ‘needs’ are established initially on the basics of food, shelter and clothing and enlarge from there to include expanded versions of these things together with ways to enjoy them through greater and greater experiences beginning with increased ‘control’ of its world. All of this is based on the belief in separation and the endless list of fears which that belief engenders.

When you have surrendered totally to Life [the SELF You Are], IT takes care of all the ‘heavy lifting’. Whatever is for your highest good is accomplished in perfect order effortlessly. There is no need to ‘think’ about “what to eat, what to put on or where to live” … these are shown to you down to the tiniest detail and show up often in what the false self would call miraculous ways. There is no hierarchy of simple to difficult because the SELF knows nothing of ‘levels’ … all is equal.

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard the things God [the SELF] has prepared for those who Love IT [focus on Truth].”
