JOHN MCINTOSH
The mind is the jail … its door wide open but its false comforts keep one confined within its narrow walls. Beliefs, agendas, routines, descriptions, dividing lines and above all, an endless archives of facts [so-called knowledge, which is learned ignorance], constitute these comfortable parameters that serve as ‘security’ from the great Unknown. In this way the myopic and limited ‘life’ the mind-identity exists within is accepted as ‘just the way it is’.
The Heart lives Free … IT ‘is’ Life IT SELF. It lives spontaneously, vulnerably, and devoid of plans and ‘have-to’s’ … fearlessly swimming in the infinite ocean ‘of’ the Unknown in every moment. Time [the illusion of past and future] holds no sway over the Heart’s carefree dance between the cracks of little-ness. There ‘are’ no boundaries in the Heart-Life, no walls of division or confinement and yet no experience binds it either, as IT has no attachments.
There ‘is’ a price for this Freedom and it is high – yet low. It is the total abandonment of reliance upon the mind whose real purpose is as a servant to the Heart as ‘software’ to navigate the Grand Dream, guided in everyway ‘by’ the Heart.
