JOHN MCINTOSH
‘I need’ is the constant lament of the false self [the one most refer to as ‘me’], who always feels ‘incomplete’. This is due to the belief in separation. The ONE SELF YOU Really Are, has no divisions or levels and is ‘always’ complete.
Most of these ‘phantom needs’ are largely beneath the level of conscious awareness since most ‘conditioning’ [the root cause of all neediness] is very subtle. Beyond the absolute ‘basics’ of food, clothing and shelter [survival] … there ‘are’ no real needs except to remember Who YOU Really Are – the fundamental Purpose of being here in your unique ‘dream’ world.
