JOY

JOHN MCINTOSH

Silence is the ‘absence of ‘you’ … the chattering mind of the false self. Silence ‘is’ the ONE SELF … another name for JOY [not to be confused with happiness, which rides an endless roller coaster with sorrow]. When the false self has dissolved there ‘is’ only the ONE SELF – the ‘real’ YOU.

The ONE SELF ‘always’ emanates an ‘essence’ of JOY … no matter what the outer circumstances may suggest. It ‘points’ to what is NOT ‘IT’ [not real]. This can ‘appear’ as a teaching, but it is actually an ‘un-teaching’ of that which has hidden ITs ever-Present Reality ‘from’ IT SELF.
